1. Scope and summary
This policy explains how the iPhone app Paw Arena (the “App”), provided by Boxiang Shan, handles information.
The current version is paid once and works offline. It has no developer account system, advertising, analytics SDK, cross-app tracking, or developer-operated game server. The developer does not collect data from the App.
2. Information stored on your device
- Companion profile: name, cat or dog type, optional breed, age, weight, sex, and the modular appearance you confirm.
- Optional pet photos: an original photo you choose or take and a locally generated cutout.
- Game data: bond level, Paw Coins, bout records, unlocks, memories, selected moves, keepsakes, and preferences.
This information stays in the App’s local container unless you explicitly export it. It is not automatically sent to the developer.
3. Camera, photos, and on-device processing
A pet photo is optional. Camera permission is requested only after you choose “Take a Photo.” If declined, you can use Apple’s system photo picker or create a companion entirely by hand.
Pet type suggestions, supported breed candidates, subject separation, and appearance suggestions are processed on your device. Every suggestion requires your confirmation. Original photos are not uploaded to the developer.
4. Exports, sharing, and iOS backups
The system share sheet, file exporter, and file importer appear only after your action. Generated companion cards and bout keepsakes exclude original photos, age, weight, and sex.
The App embeds no third-party analytics, advertising, account, or cloud-storage SDK. Apple system services may provide a selected photo, camera access, sharing, Files destinations, and device backups only when you use or configure those features; Apple’s terms and your system settings govern those services.
A local backup you export may include the companion profile, progress, settings, and photos. You choose its destination. After export, that destination and its provider govern the file. Whether iOS device backups include App data depends on your Apple and iCloud backup settings; this does not send data to the Paw Arena developer.
5. Retention, deletion, security, and children
Local information remains until you choose Game Settings → Local Data → Delete All Data, or remove the App. Deleting App data cannot remove backups you previously exported elsewhere. Local storage is protected by iOS and the device security settings you choose.
The App is not presented as a Kids Category app and does not knowingly collect personal information from children—or from anyone—through a developer service.
6. Changes and contact
If App features or data practices change, this policy and App Store privacy answers will be updated before the change is released.
